Pilot Power 2ct Recall

Well out of date mate, got two replaced that were nearly fooked, for once i got a good deal:thumbup

wouldnt ever put one on a bike again..... worst tyres i've ever had.....

Really :confused why do you say that :dunno, there's plenty on here that highly rate the pilot powers, now if you had mistaken them for Dunlops i'd understand that statement :biggrin

First class rubber as far as i'm concerned..i have run numerous sets of em on the Ape, and all good..stik like s**t to a blanket & still wear very well.

They were recalled yonks ago for doing something like this (extreme cases)

maybe they handle differently on a storm but they are the only tyres that have wiped out on me .....
I'm 100% bridgestone now...

My m8 at work had it happen to him it shredded a layer off the tyre at over 100 destroyed the front guard and ripped off a brake line:eek2
Fortunately he was on a straight at the time and managed to stop:thumbup:doh

I had a pirelli do this on my mk2 escort rs1800 years ago, car felt like it was slidding on black ice, with the rear trying to overtake the front.

that was scary enough, so fook it happening on a bike.

Believe its called delaminating.

Happened to a Dunlop 208RR i had on, 300 miles old and delaminated, it went flat on me but over a 30 mile journey

Dunlop sent me a new tyre with no explanation or apology, never fitted them since, i did not like them anyway regardless of the delaminating episode.
