any dual 98-03 subframe will work on your bike

the fixing bracket to the rear light unit is different but you can chop yours down to look like this

Why do you need a subframe? Unless you have a Jester kit or simalar fitted then all you need to do is take the rear hump off using the key release then swap for a pillion seat. Rear pegs screw straight into the standard subframe aswell if yours have been removed. If all you need is a pillion seat then post a thread in the wanted section and keep an eye on ebay, they come up quite often. Same for the pegs and if you do need one a subframe realy.

early R's came with a single subframe to save weight

yeah, i have a 2000 -R so i guess what you're saying is i do need a new sub frame. I was aware that something was different but couldn't remember what

Double check you havent got the first R model on a 2000 plate then, if not, your good to go. The correct subframe will have two threaded holes below the rear of the mesh side panel on the near side.

I have it all from a 2000 Mille ,frame ,seat ,rear light and so but the only problem is that it is in Sweden and i dont know the price to send it.
