Well, if I have one piece of advice for anyone thinking of changing their bikes.....DON'T...... LEAVE THE ******* THINGS ALONE!

Tried to fit the Falco headers to the Mille, dont fit, the bottom of the pipes foul the bottom of the belly pan, wont allow the fairing mounts to meet. ******* THING!

So, bought a set of Akrapovic headers to fit to the Mille, removed from a 2003Tuono, so no issues ftting these then, WRONG! won't clear the rear linkage, left side pipe sits about 50mm away from the swing arm, right side 10mm.......LOOKS ******* STUPID, so off it came aswell.

**** it then, I'l fit the Akrapovic headers to the Tuono, least then that's one of them sorted.......WRONG!...........******* exhaust nut snapped in the engine.......10 days for new ones to arrive, can't remove the snapped one now either..................SO NO ******* BIKES ON THE ROAD NOW! Gonna have to get public transport to work next week, no more cash to get the ****** into a garage to get fixed SO ******* PISSED OFF I CAN'T TELL YOU.

Actually given up, not in my nature at all but i cannot be ****** with them anymore, totally lost the will.

feel for you pal.....best not to bother with them for the week.....then once youve had a few days off you'll find your interest is back.
best just to get yourself a nice single pipe set up and save yourself all the stress......fire them up and ride one of them!!

i find its best to walk away for a few hours or a day or so then re tackle the problem.....getting stressed out, you only ending up ******* things up

Having 2 bikes is like having 2 women on the go. If they found out about each other, they usually team up and try to **** you over. Tell one of your bikes you love them and the other bike means nothing to you, then she'll let you play with her again, lol.

Calmed down a bit now!! Sorting the Tuono tomorrow.....whether it kills me!! Going to go for a Renegade style link pipe on the Mille now........if it'll fit with the Wilbers shock i have on:dunno:dunno

Yup! Ordered it from the Ducati catalog ("special tool #1").. all I have to do is glance at it when I walk into the garage & my bike seems to tune itself! If you have it in hand the bike will change & balance it's own tires. Well worth the $$:biggrin
