if you use www.tinypic.com - there's no signing up so you can just upload and go. To put them into a post, you need to click the little icon on the toolbar that appears above where you type your post, which when you hover over it says "Insert Image". It's the 3rd from the right. Click that, put the URL (web address) of your picture and you're set to go.
