Hello, here is a Pic of my new to me, 2002 Yellow Aprilia RSV Mille R.

1.What are the best Mod’s to do to this bike?
2.What aftermarket parts are just ****, and I should stay away from?
3.What Mod’s are a waste of time?
4. What Exhaust System makes the most HP 2-2 or 2-1?
5. I notice that you can't get Gilles Chain Tooling Adjusters, is this true?
6. What does the "IP" sticker stand for on side of the bike?

Read your manual to find out what IP stuff is all about, its a brand name, i think lubricants but im not 100% sure

i have seen gilles chain adjusters for newer bikes (i believe Badger has a set), perhaps someone else will know if you really cant get them on pre 04 bikes

have a look around the forum for info on the best parts and mods to do
usually the best places to start are: sprockets (15/42 or 16/44 are popular), exhaust (akra are highly praised) and airbox (something like renegade kit to give more power and sound)

and welcome to the forum :D

Hi angelo1000r, welcome on aboard :thumbup I don't know, all these yellow ones...... :nana

1. Really depends on what you want from the bike. Do you want more torque? More bhp? More rideability? More more more :biggrin I'd recommend getting a decent set of tyres, the suspension set up for your weight and riding style and dropping the gearing, then move on from there.

2. I'm sure there are plenty out there. Anything that promises the earth and outstanding claims is well worth steering clear of I find. Have a look through AF1 and italoparts.de to see what they offer as they often have dyno charts for you to browse over in relation to the mods.

3. Again, all depends on what you are after. Any ideas? Some say painting it silver would make it alot faster.....crazy fools :laugh

4. Depends on what you read and which dyno and all the other variables that can alter the output. Again, depends on your choice looks wise really, as you are never going to tell the difference of say 1-2bhp between a 2-1 and a 2-2. Any full system including headers is going to out perform a slip on having said that.

5. It appears not. I can also let you know that if you went for a 2-2 Akrapovic full system like the Edwards rep, then Gilles rearsets on the gear change side will foul against the link pipe. The resolve is to remove the gear change assembly from the rearset and refit the original gear change lever :roll

6. Think that one was covered already :thumbup

Paint it black :devious

I've recently fitted a Beowulf Warrior slip-on. Not sure about poerformance gains but it looks good, sounds tremendous and the company were really good to deal with (recommend dealing directly with Beowulf and not through a dealer).

I just ordered this tasty piece, it was $20.00 U.S. buck's more than the twin high mount arrow system, i think it a better buy, also thx's for the info Guy's
"i've been wanting this bike since 2002" and now it's play time"
