just filled up the bike today for the first time cost £10.00 putting in super unleaded. seems expensive how much does the tank hold and what mpg are you guys getting:eatcorn

Bloody Hell...................I wish mine took a tenner to fill !!, Mine takes about 19 quid from empty to fill and I get around 150 miles to empty

bloody hell £19.00, ill keep my mouth shut then. by the way there is no vat over here i still thought £10 was alot to put in a bike, will set the trip and see what mpg i get

130 - 150 miles on a Motorway and then the lamp comes on and it costs around £18 to fill it or 90 - 100 miles on 'A' & 'B' roads light comes on and it costs same again to refill it.

They don't call it rip off Britain for nothing!

Think you'll have to tell us how much fuel in volume you put in if you pay no VAT.


NO VAT ? FECK ME

are you a "new age traveller" or summat? Did the fuel come from some one elses fuel tank while they slept?:dunno

LOL, there is no vat here in guernsey. when fuel light came on i went and filled it up straight away it was £10.05p to be exact i was quite shocked really i hope that will last me for the month. :biggrin

Volume mate volume! how many litres? or pints, gallons.

and do you have to crank the pump your self ?:nana

Fuel here is $2.48 a US gallon for 91 octane, goes for 150 miles easy. I went for a speed limit ride, (benefit run for cancer, or something of the like), used two US gallons for 100 miles. Normal is 42 MPG, I am a naughty boy!!:devil Speed is your friend!

It's 95 RON normal for me... runs peachy.
You got higher-comp pistons or something?

lol..i ran out of petrol on the way back from the TT and managed to squeeze in £23.50

RSV 02 (18ltr tank)... filled up last night... previously brimmed it whilst bike was upright... did the same last night... 98.2 miles @ £17.00 (16.52ltrs)... feck me... 27.02mpg... ... THUD

4.2 gallons (18.9 litres) @ £19.00
165 miles to dry tank (absolutely empty) = 39 MPG !!

The nearest town to mine is 16 miles away and costs just over £5 one way! £1.05p litre . . . . . . . and the bike is never off the limiter. Sometimes i miss my R6.
