yes this happens . ive done 20 miles and still could only get 13 ltrs in. know a lad who carried a gallon round with him till it run dry and did 50 miles

I've done 35 with the light on, and got 17 litres in.
I don't know this bit about trip meter coming on, mine doesn't. What mode do have the switch in? I normally have trip 1 running so I can see how many miles I've done since fuelling up

If you are in the main mode, grin, the mileage since the fuel light came on is given. Allows a little leeway. I always reset Trip 1 for the new tank anyway. I usually use Trip @ to monitor overall trip mileage.
I've run dry in the city at ~ 40 km, but had over 70 km on the highway and still only got 15 L in the tank after.

NP... and now I have to get my happy *** into the shower and then into the leathers for a ride. Soooo tired though, yesterday was a loooong day. Good shift, just running a lot.

I did, nobbie dearest... Shoulda taken a pic for you. I will do thusly sometime this week! And I got 45 km outta the yellow light and only put just over 15L in the tank. Guess as long as I'm not hard on the throttle then I can get a better "reserve" out of the yellow light. Aaaaand, I'll get a pic of the yellow leathers just for nob... Aaaaand I'll go commando in them just fer nob... so that I can scar him some more, emotionally speaking.

I prefer to think that I am dressed with a certain je ne c'est quoi when wrapped in my saffron hued suit... And yeah, the wife said it was REAL easy to pick me out at the track... Whaddya do though when you weigh twice what most of the other riders weigh? Do you have any idea how many cows have to be killed in order to clad me with a protective layer... Most of the other fast guys weigh about 140-150 lbs... My left buttcheek weighs that much...
