Hi all, my poor old girl has suffered another problem, went into garage and could smell petrol. on investigation I found the leak, it was coming from the rear of the fuel pump so I purchased a new seal and replaced it. ITS STILL LEAKING :confused any suggestions guys

Tank has probably warped

Either try emptying the tank then dry out use a hot air gun to straighten up then some sealant or make a thick rubber gasket

Cheers redratbike ive heard these tanks warp, just got a sealant called blue, will try this ty:thumbup

Hi, the RRB spot on as per, but also check the quick release return .. it`s sneaky and drips in the same pace
as the pump seal sometimes. Once done try using ethenol free/low go go juice. Good luck.

Just been through exactly the same thing. Nightmare! Thought it was the O ring so replaced it & still leaked. It had actually warped out around the fuel pump bolt holes. Like Redratbike suggested I gently heated with a heat gun and pulled back to straight. Go carefully tho, not too hot or too much pressure. Just a bit at a time. And do make sure the tank is completely dry or you'll have a big bang !
