Hi what to do next, put gpr exhaust on,free flow air filter but what more power whats the best think to do now any idears thanks.

What gearing are you running? And why do you want more power?

Why wouldn't you want more power, more power = faster bike!

Just adding power won't always make for a faster bike.

that's why I asked why does he want more power?

faster acceleration? down gear it.

strugling to keep up through the twisties? suspension and tyres.

bragging rights down the pub? fill ya boots!

a few years ago I was at Bruntingthorpe with Ride magazine and had a pretty much supersport spec GSXR at the time I was running at the front of fast group at most tracks.
so i thought i was pretty quick on a bike, we went out and started to do some laps for the photographer and I was going what I thought was well. braking as late as I could and getting on the gas as soon as I could.
then a certain young gentleman called Kev Smith came flying past me on a 1200 Bandit S and I couldn't catch him no matter what I tried.

I had more power
better tyres
better suspension
better everything on the bike

BUT he was just a better rider so I'll ask again why do you want more power?

power comes in many forms. Money is power for example. less wheel mass is also power. More power to maneuver. It'll cost you though. Trade ( spend ) money for carbon fiber rims . power exchange is a better word.

your looking at $3500 US easy, for a set of BST rims.

sticky tires are another form of power. More traction means more speed through the turns and more power from the bike to the ground not lost on tire spin and slippage. Dunlop gp A race tires will also cost you a bit of cash too and they wear out fast so by the end of the year you'll have spent much more money on tires than your previous years. Another power exchange .

not to mention , the RSV4 Factory ABS but then you lose the upright posture of the tuono. Costs more too . another power exchange .

speed is power so anything you can do to get your bike to speed up faster or slow down faster , like better braking systems , then you've added more power right there.

a windscreen may add some more power.

ohlins suspension will get you around corners and over the bumps in the roadway quicker too with more agility. Expensive too.

by the time you've spent all this money , you'll be paying for your tuono almost twice over . More money more power.

total agreement mate

I'd spend money on down gearing for acceleration, where these days can you use massive top end speed?....maybe Silverstone? ??....you can't even do it at Donington or half the other circuits and especially the road!

I'd spend money on the suspension too, a well set up bike will ride better and inspire confidence.

They are the 2 major changes I made to mine and haven't regretted it mate.

as silly as it sounds eating better and doing a bit of exercise does pay dividens. you're able to go harder for longer ;-)
