Hi all long time no see busy playing with other toys ! I've got track day booked at croft and booking cadwell again. I also have a hairbrained scheme to do some hill climb events. So looking to go down power commander and quick shifter route looking for best options and general advice on getting the best choice from the ones in the know. Cheers

Iam assuming you are running a twin, in whicxh case you may want ot find the post from Redratbike who has done a deal with QS (I think they are called) for a quick shifter that is plug and play without needing a power commander. You will need rearsets as the transducer fits onto the gear change pushrod which the std set up doesn't use.

Thanks for that info ,I looked at those and have emailed them for clarity on the fitting of them . Plug and play sounds a plan clears up the point about needing rearsets too . Excellent cheers for that, im running 06 Tuono R on Akros .

I fitted dyno jet quick shifter and aprilia`s ergal gear linkage which can be made into race shift pattern (fits into hole on left foot rest) on my 07 tuono then went n bought a v4, took quick shifter off n it's in box in garage, but you need pc111 to run it. Which date are you going to croft? I am doing track day on 20th April.

I'm doing croft on 24th ,but hopefully doing first round of the auto 66 hillclimb climb championship before then 2nd 3rd May at Oliver's Mount . Got a pc 5 to go on ,and million other things before then . Not sure about quick shifter route now ,not sure how much of an aid it will be on hillclimb stuff . Certainly on track would be awesome.
