PC111 fitting and mapping price.

Hi all, i've just been qouted £500 for buying, fitting and mapping a PC111 on my 07 RSV Factory by a local dealer, is this about right ?, or are they charging a little OTT ?. The only reason for phoning them first is that they have the RR to map it on. The RSV is my first twin, so apart from a K&N race filter what else do you think i'll need if I go for it ?.

ive been quoted between 450 500 for power commander, fitting and map. thats with the rolling road aswell

fit it yourself mate. piece of piss. comes with full instructions. couldn't be easier. only tricky bit is removing the tank... if you call that tricky. That way you can shop around for supplying it and not paying their price for supplying it.

hmm a little pricey me thinks!

im sure i can beat that mate!
New PC3
Throttle body balance and cO ( needs to be done before any maspping can take place....believe me!)
custom map!
all fitted and done around £400

price includes all the tea you can drink and watch us while its all being done!

the biggest expense here is a PC3 if you can find a second hand one then your talkin half that !

mine had the TB's setup after the map was done,ball'sed it up & I didnt know any better,& that was an experianced dyno operator.see Griff,it will be worth it

I bought a used PC off ebay and fitted it myself.

I then took the bike to Griff who did the pre-mapping set-up and then he sent me to a Kiwi guy (Bruce) who used to work for Hawk Kawasaki, to do the mapping. He also helped build Glen Richards' British Supersport winning engines!
