Part Compatability - Will Multi year Parts fit my 00?

Good day all- As most don't know my bike was involved in a fire-

SO I am ordering the weak "Plastic" parts

Like.. Controll's , Windscreen, etc..

Generally- What is the cutoff year for parts not being generaly compatible with a 00..

I am trying to order various controll parts and I was just wondering what fits and what doesnt.

I got most all ordered I just ordered a resevoir for my clutch.... - the right side res is ok..

and I need that rside controlls.. I was jsut wondering if a 02 would work etc.

and if there is some thread someoen could point me to or something for other parts id appreciate it

Oh.. and im thinking about getting this 02 wiring harness if its compatible - I'd liek to have it jsut in case

yep they all swap/ fit etc 98-03

screens differ 98-00 or 01-03 and the headlights are different sizes between these years as well

riders seats are slightly different think 01-03 are 20mm longer than the earlier version

tanks are different same years as above later tank for the shorter vented side panels ,early tank for the solid side panels but you can fit the later vented panels

bellypans and side fairings can be swapped between years as can seat units ....

sure did help... there is little to no part/fairing cache on ebay.. definitly no chinese plastic sets etc... im better ofr goin for a 03 set and switchjgn my headlight for long term... my current light is custom small hid in a fiberglass race front fairing.. ik better off replacing it with a racing set than paying dor the horindious work involved in recering this body
