Hey Garv, when it comes to custom jobs it's going to cost a bit unless you personally know a painter. I'd recommend looking for a few custom paint forums, or be bold and do it yourself :thumbup.

Cheers

Its going to be three colours. as soon as I can sort out transport for work or spare fairing then im off painting.

Think im going to have a bash at painting it my self. compressor and gun :) Just not convinced about painting the tank. the rest I think sod it.

Next thing is sourcing the decals. Would prefer Oli as i've seen his work and hes a top bloke but know hes got a lot on at the moment.

So im after some loan panels :)

painting

try plastec in reading, had my blade done there yellow purple, absolutely mustard, but not cheap.

cheers murf.

remember good preparation of the panels is important if the finish of the paint is rubbish then you can cut it back with fine wet and dry but if the panels under the paint are marked then its paint off and start again...

which colour scheme did you pick?

I had three in mind but my 5 year old son had told me which one and I must agree it will look good (from afar :lol) when its done, well I hope so

good luck with it garvey just dont rush it mate and i think you'll surprise your self ........

:thumbup good man, thats the spirit. Like redrat says perfect preparation prevents piss poor results :D make sure your prep is top notch - its an arse and tedious but well worth the results.

Deacs :thumbup

Or the mate of supertedlovers, he did a good job on ST's :thumbup

Certainly did mate, he will gladly do it.

Like RRB said its all in the prep, took me weeks and many a lonely hour prepping the panels till they were smoother than Jordans Clout.

If you wanna prep em save yourself some serious coin but it ain`t a 5 min job, my mate will do em but it aint cheap.

Have a chat with Paul at Altamura, very very good but you get what you pay for....

What kind of figure we talking about you think, If I do all the prep :)
Im thinking at the moment that I might have a bash at it with my compressor, just down to cost really. If I can get my hands on the front nose cone and rear seat unit then I can still use my bike and take my time on prepping and painting:devious

Ill pm you the design buddy

As kawasakinnit says , i second his comment ask spooky on here to send u a pic of his ,,, his mate did it & first class job ....italian flag colour scheme :thumbup
