Paddock Stand Query

Hi all

This is my first post on here so be gentle! I have recently purchased an RSV after having had Ducatis ( He waits for the abuse). My question is can you leave the RSV on a paddock stand with the bobbin type fixing when not in use long term was just worried their might be too much weight/strain on the bobbins.

The Ducati paddock stand fitted into the rear hub so this was not a problem. Just dont want to find it in a heap on the garage floor one day.

hi mate welcome .mine is on the stands all winter back and front as its to shiny to get wet

always put mine on paddock stand when in garage

Shuld be fine mate - an Abba stand is even better though.

If you ask Little1uk nicely, he'll make you a superb stand for lickle money.

Here's one.

He does a posher one, too, but I can't find the thread:confused

Absolutely no prob mate, if any stand is gonna fail it'd do it in the first few mins not weeks or months. As previously said the abba stands are a great bit of kit, as well as little1uks stands.

seconded alan, got one myself - the dog's cojones! even easier to use than the abba

Any problems millelincs am only down the rd near caenby corner mate, i leave mine on paddock stands. Come over i`ll look after ya :devious

As previous posts mine lives on paddock stands in the garage,nae problemo. :thumbup

I am looking for a paddock stand myself, thinking about getting an abba buy now I would like to take a look a t Little 1 uk. I have had a look but I Ian't find the guy, does anyone have contact details please?

it depends on the paddock stand, be wary of cheap flimsy ones, get a proper sturdy one.
