OZ Wheels..

Hi.

I have a quick question Im hoping someone will be able to answer. Would the blue OZ wheels from a 2004 RSV1000R Factory, fit a 2001 RSV1000R?

I do hope so as I just won & paid for them off Ebay then afterwards I noticed the 2004 bit. They look the same as the ones that are on mine, but that doesn't mean they ARE the same. :dunno

i would guess so mate,but im not 100% positive.
think its the same swingarm ect.
however,i may be proved wrong (happens alot!)

No they will not fit. Later radial braked bike wheels will not fit early pre-radial brake bikes. Early wheels can be fitted to later bike with the use of spacers.

Bugger. :dowhat Just my luck at the moment that is!!

I got them for £430 inc postage, which I thought was quite reasonable.

I will definately be interested in a swap matey! :devious I dont actually have the wheels yet, only just paid for them today, but they are suppossedly in excellent condition. Are yours in good nick too? And just out of curiosity, why do you want to swap? Are you in the same situation? :dowhat

Hi there, I run an 04 and an 07 both on track and road. These wheels are spares with road tyres for the 04 but I've never used them. They have the spacers fitted I was on about earlier which I'll take off again if you fancy them. From memory they're in good original condition but not mint. If yours are mint then I guess I might have to put some wedge into the deal.

p.s. No I'm not in the same position as you, I knew these would need spacers, but be wary there are a lot of guys out there who don't know what the f**k they're on about.:0 :0

Cool, well I can't comment on mine yet as I dont have them, but supposedly they're good condition. Here is the link to the auction on Ebay..

I'm waiting for an E-Cheque to clear as payment, so I won't have them for a little while yet, but I was thinking I could have even got them sent straight to you to save me having to re-post them? Just a thought anyway, but yes I will defo be interested in swapping as they will be of no use to me & will have to be sold on again! Bah!!
