Anyone using an oversized clutch slave cylinder?Used them on my Ducati's and was very pleased with them.Really reduced the effort needed to operate the clutch.Dont know what they are like on 'Prillas.Had a sniff around the 'net and there seems to be a choice of AF1 MPL or Oberon.(The Oberon one is about £30 cheaper!)
So,good mod or waste of money?

I have MPL on both of ours, AF1Windy has the Evoluzione, both are excellent about 35-30% lighter.
Evo has a lifetime warranty on seals, my MPL needed new seals last year (5 yrs old)

no experience of the Oberon unit.

Well I went for the Oberon slave,.....three reasons;
1.Oberon quality is excellent.
2.Good availability,...yer can get them from ebay,Aprilia Performance dead easy.
3.Excellent price.
Fitted straight on the bike,...looks good in red,...matches my lever adjusters and fork tops.:thumbup
Bleeding was a bit of a *******,...my little one way valve tool decided to pack up so I had to go old school and use a jar and a length of tube.
Anyway,got her bled and nipped up the nipple.(oer missus!)The results are'nt that stunning,tbh.There is a slight,..and I mean a VERY slght improvement over std.
So overall not sure whether it was worth the £90 that I paid,......It does look good tho!:yes

interesting this cos i've got an oberon one that i havn't fitted yet, it came with a load of carbon bits i bought off a bloke who used to have a factory like mine. Havnt fitted it cos i gotta say i dont find the standard one that heavy at all.....

Ah reckon nuthin wrang wi the original. Wid say it's one o the lighter clutches ahv hud oan a bike. Compared tae my TDM it's like featherlight..... But then again we do like new shiny things......
