Have a 02 Mille and the other day the Temp went through the roof....looked down and fans not running. Temp reached 120 Deg flashing. Fuse is good, relay works, replaced both fans early last year (second hand) have work all this time before the other day. has any body had both fail before??? any help would be fantastic!!

Most likely the thermal switch that bring them on or possibly the relay, try swapping the relay its the bottom one on the left hand side of the clocks, all three relays are the same so try swapping one over, if that doesn't work probably the thermal switch, same thing happened to me for quickness i wired in a small flick switch from the relay wiring now i can bring the fans on when i like.

Check the water pump is working right, mine had issues and the temp gauge went mental as soon as bike was run

Thanks guys for the advice....i'll check those items you mentioned (switch and pump) over the next week and see how i get on.

:thumbup I've checked out the thermal switch and that is defective....so I've by-passed it with a manual switch for now until i by a new Thermal switch. had the bits in garage and it works very well..
