Maybe too soon... but it was a nice day today, so couldn't resist getting the bike out from under its covers. Some photos here: Out of hibernation - a set on Flickr

Started on the button. Only slight issue was a small fluid leak from the pipe in one of the photos above. I think it was Brooksy who was telling me the standard clips are not up to much, so it might just be a case of replacing that. Once the bike warmed up the leak stopped.

It also got a new screen and some stomp grips. I'm after some new short levers next.

Who knows, I might be riding it again soon... that's just doomed us to a month of snow then.

Did much the same yesterday, fired it up, first time since October.

M,there is a howto for changing the hose clips but it's for the gen2.

You got it out started it up & didn't have a widdle run round the block?
Screen looks good, and yes, those hose clips are pathetic.

Must have been a week end for fe titling the Tuono.

I dug mine out, fired it up, then decided to strip the back suspension to grease all the bearings.

The swinging arm is ready to come off, but there is a fecking exhaust pipe in the way

Problems, problems OT. If its not one thing its another. Oh well, there's always next year.

There is an exhibition on at Shildon railway museum till next week end.

It may be the last time that there will be 6 steam trains A4 class including Mallard will be together.

Some people on here will remember them, loads faster than a tram.
