when removing the std airbox and replacing it with a plate and foam filter, what do people do with the air charge temperature sensor?
obviously the open air filter is not ducted through the intakes like the airbox and can draw air from all around, so the reading from the sensor may not be the temperature of what is getting sucked in, meaning that the density of air and hence mass of it as calculated by the ecu to add fuel to in the correct ratio may not be correct.
