Usually at the top of the apple tree.
After watching the weather forecasts for the previous two days it was all go for a 600+miler 2 weekends ago.
Early start, up at 5.30am and met at 7.00.
I had planed a circular route from Glasgow to Durness/Tongue either going up the Wester Ross coastal route or A9 until we could cut off for Bonar Bridge and make oor way tae Altnaharra or Laxford Bidge.
We didnae get anywhere near to either route. :no
Ma muckers fork oil seals were to badly shot to take us any further than Fort Bill, nae probs it wiz a lovely day and the sun had it's hat on.
We left Fort Bill and headed down the west side of Loch Linnhe tae the Corran ferry and fae there doon tae the Connal bridge, Dalmally, Tyndrum then Killin fir a cup of tea wae one of oor mates who wiz home on leave.
Back yard kind of stuff and only short of three hunner miles, still brill tae be oot wae yer mucker on braw machines on a braw day.
A wee pic from the west side of Loch Linnhe.
And the leaky seals.
