Ooops its stopped working

About 10 days ago I did a very wet track day at Rocking on my Factory. All was well on the day and I took the bike home, gave it a wash, rode it into the garage and then took the fairing off to clean up inside.

With the panels off I spotted a tiny weep from the oil tank, so I removed that and got it fixed.

Today I put the oil tank back on, filled it with oil and fired it up. It ran for a few seconds as normal then dropped to 1 cyclinder, then stalled. I tried again and it fires on one cylinder only. Ive pull the rear plug lead off and given it a squirt of WD40, but that had no effect.

Before I start pulling it appart, is there any 'common' fault that could cause this?

Cheers
Steve

Sussed it, not damp electrics, but damp fuel!

I bought 9lt from a guy who had crashed earlier in the day and it looks like it's 50% water!. A couple of litres to top the tank up for the last sessions didn't upset anything, but putting the rest into the nearly empty tank at home cause the problem.

Tank is now cleaned & dried and fuel pump & injectors are cleaned and tested, so it's back in business just as the weather turns cold and wet!:(

Cheeky b*stard! I wouldn't be too chuffed about that but guess he was working on the fact you'll nver see him again!
