Ooooer well went out on the Wales ride out with no MOT. It was out by a few days. Good job we didn't get pulled is all I can say and asked to produce documents. All sorted now and the Tester wanted to me to sell my bike to him. Kept asking how much I wanted for it. Hmmmm shall I change it to a Gen 2????

Just put 2 new tyres on it so bit dubious to do it. Hmmmm

I reckon you'd be fookin mad to get rid of a Racing man, but if you really really had to it'd have to be replaced with a Factory.
Keep it.

ah wid say as yer Racings a higher spec model, in good nick, and ye like it, then keep a haud o it as the residual value will bottom oot soon....

.... unless yer thinkin o gettin wi times daddy o an modernisin yer ride... its yer call min!

We once drove around for about 6 months with no MOT as we completly forgot about it, never got caught thank god. ooppss

Work collegue of mine did that as well. Anyway it passed no problem. I think as riders we'd sort something before it got bad on our prized possessions.

You dont get asked to produce documents these days. The fuzz have direct access to the dvla 'pooter. They know if you have an MOT,or not, before they have even stopped you.
BTW,Last year,I rode my Triumph around for 3 months with no MOT.
Took it for the MOT and it failed!Fookin' thing still had its U.S headlight fitted!!.Also the rear brake light switch packed up and there was a small wheel alignment problem.

I thought I bought the bike in about July. Turns out I've had it over a year now. Must have been enjoying it too much. My tax, MOT and Insurance all end March or April so I'll remember next year now.
