It's mechanical dave. I don't think it's because it's Italian as isn't the motor Austrian

mine did that to the coil then spiked the ecu £1600 for a new ecu :-((

Yeah mines only at 10K.


I serously hope my ECU is fine :O

The motor is Bay but the coil is Italian, hope to **** the ECU is ok, if it's ****** i'm not sure i could justify spending £1600 to put it right, who's to say it wont go again ??

I Think I'd end up passing the problem off to someone else and part exing it if I could. Hard to justify spending 1600 quid on a bike unless it's a daily commuting tool which most of them aren't

Without knowing me or my personality you've gone and judged me and then written stuff I consider abusive. I don't think I've ever been abusive on here to anyone and pretty much try to keep my posts light hearted. I'm sure the people I've met off here can say I'm not a **** plus when I said I'd get rid of it and pass the problem onto someone else I didn't say i'd never mention the problem to the dealer and if I was selling privately I would never do that. I've not been brought up like that.

Am I offended by what you said? Yes I bloody well and truly am as uve judged me and others on this forum with what you say.

The thing is in forums as in texts and other written word documents things can be misunderstood which is why I don't judge people's personalities on what they say and write. My ethos is if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all to people and don't write something you wouldn't say to people face to face.

Yes I understand that BW. Its just sometimes you get gremlins in things that don't seem to sort themselves. I'd never sell on something dangerous to anyone. All I mean is I'd get rid of something if it kept going wrong due to other family commitments. I'd rather take my little boy to Disney world than keep paying out on a bike. If someone else thought they could do it I'd sell it on for the what I considered a reasonable price (minus the cost of the job) and let them see if they could sort it. I'm not mechanically minded at all so I definitely couldn't fix it myself.

PS regards the getting rid of bike I wouldna pass anthing on without telling person what was wrong with it. I just couldn't justify spending £1600 on summat with a young un and the wife wanting another. Fingers crossed nothing will go wrong with it thats expensive. Will ask Griff to give it a good check over on the 18th.
