online switching map1/map2

i've heard of this before but no idea wether you could spike the ecu or something flicking about

the pc3 can have an attachment that allows you to switch between power map and fuel economy map although never seen one only in pics

maybe it is just a fake... no proof that the map has been actually changed...

i think Gabro did some custom eeproms with a "wet" and full power map for a few guys

As far as i know they didn't have any nasty happenings.

ok but switching online while running? the map is in the chip so how would that be possible to switch from one half of the chip memorry to the other one without the engine stopping... i still cant believe it. dr.rossi can you explain? :)

Yes we can!
With the wire on pin 16 (Ground) we just tell the ecu to go to a certain memory adres and read the info.
The ecu wil check that wire around 3 times per second so I see no reason this would not work.
I have done this several times while testing.
But you want to have 2 maps that are very similar at least at low rpm's and small tb openings to enable you to set the bike up properly for both maps.
