Riding to work this morning happy as Larry, see a bus indicating to pull out so i slow a little, the four people that have got off go to cross the road, the lad at the front jogs across, not a problem, two at the back wait on the pavement, great so they know their green cross code, the girl with the headphones on doesnt look right and saunters out in front of me, i brake hard and go to avoid her, she sees me and panics, runs back towards the curb, i brake harder, miss her and go straight over the top, land in a heap, bike on top of me and now have a shattered collar bone and my beloved pristine bike in bits.
WHAT A **** START TO THE DAY!!!

I'm proper pissed off dude, i can fix the bike, not worried about that, but collar bone is in bits one of which is nearly vertical so got to see the specialist at 9:30 tomorrow then bish bash bosh chuck a bit of a plate in and release me back in to the wild.
Anyway dude thought you werent coming on here until we'd sorted joifinobjocky out, its almost like you care, i feel all warm inside, i'm filling up dude:bawling
Hey could be worse, i'm still in one piece, well four or five but me and the T will be fine and back to it ASAP.:thumbup

**** baggy that's crap but as you say you will mend & the bike can be fixed :thumbup

***** Baggy min...thats jist crappy.....best wishes an hope ye mend soon.

Thanks everyone, my mate is gonna pick the T up tomorrow so i'll ***** the damage when i get back from my appointment, will be back, bigger, better, more trick and faster.:thumbup

oh no sorry to hear dont worry about the bike until yr fixed, first thing first get yr treatments sorted i looked up allsorts of treatments ,pulse wave ,lipus, laser and ultra sound oh and electronic accupunture i suggest you look at this link brain simpson in ipswich he does all the top sportsmen injurys think he done carl krutchlow but not sure it will feed you with the infomation you need to look on the net, i ended up finding somewhere local that i have used before(ostoepath) and haveing electronic accuputure and ultra sound had 3 treatments so far on my ribs and collar bone. the nhs will just plate you up annd off you go and thats it ok yes its better no nhs but they only do stuff by the book and also so much red tape preventing better treatments, yr best bet would be to look at this site have a good read and look around for someone nearer to you who might do some of these treatments or maybe all of them??

Not good news. Have the police done anything about the girl wearing the headphones as she was the one that caused the accident

Sorry to hear your news Baggy - hope you heal well & manage to get back on soon.

Gutted man - hope u and u'r bike fixed up soon.
to cheer u up - my mate had his bike stolen last night; messy insurance too; recently moved and cover is at old property.........

Thanks Mr ff I'll have a read at that, i've got private health care from work so i'm going to see what they can offer me to help. bay, the police turned up while i was in the ambulance, because i didn't hit her they're not interested, in fact they were more bothered about who was moving the bike as i was going to hospital.

Lesson learned though eh. Don't brake and try to tske best avoidance. Her fault it would have been as well

Sorry to hear this mate. Glad you`re (relatively) okay though, and the bike will fix, although it`s a pisser !! :no

My mate has looked at the bike, says frame, forks, wheels, subframe, exhaust are all unmarked, pretty much all cosmetic damage, he's good at stuff like that being a trackday fanatic and racer, I suppose thats brightened my day a bit.
Time for a carbon fibre make over.:thumbup
As for avoiding her i was until she realised i was there and moved back into my path, hence more brake and a rather unceremonious and not particularly graceful frontal dismount, :thumbdown

Sorry to hear that bagster mate, hope it all works out for you. Why is there little or no recall against stupid pedestrians like that? Makes ya sick :megaphone
