Anyone else played around with on board vids ??

This was just me goofing around one afternoon - screwed up the sound mix during the editing, but this was put together in a bit of a rush, so you'll have to forgive me !!

I want asn on board camera!!! Any tips on how to set it up? Nice vid by the way!

I got my kit from http://www.bikecameras.com/ - it's a two camera setup, connected to a camcorder via a toggle switch (to switch between the camera feeds). You can use PVR's instead of the camcorder too, but the quality is downgraded slightly - not that I think it would be that noticeable. If you're feeling really creative, you can get a four camera, picture-in-picture setup too !!!!!

Anywayz, it's all pretty easy to setup, but there are a lot of wires. I ended up labelling all the connections to make it quick and easy to setup in future.

One tip - The microphone is really sensitive, and can get overwhelmed by loud exhausts. This is quickly fixed by taping foam over the mic.
