On board camera on a Gen 2?

Hello chaps,

Does anyone on here use an onboard video camera on a Gen 2 Tuono? In particular, a bullet type camera - if so, where have you mounted it and what's your set up?

I've just bought a Mini DVR 3 bullet cam system, and don't really want to go drilling holes in the body work if I can avoid it. Having said that, if anyones got a spare 'radiator side wing', I'll buy it (pair?) to play about with...

on me owd tuoldo, i just drilled a 4mm hole under the front fairing, and made up an ally bracket.. easy to do and yer cant see any hole after its off, unless yer underneath it.

in which case you,ve normally fell off.

I had the bullet camera in the side light housing on the Tuoldo. Haven't bothered with the Gen 2. I just clamp the camera onto one of the R&G's

Thats fine, god position so as no-one can see speedo. It has been known for police to view youtube and use as evidence

Mmmmm I can feel my wallet twitching.........

What's the quality of the non-HD one like viewed on a TV?

Newelly (or should I say MrHarveypup?) what do you reckon to the Drift? (looks like good quality from your clip).

Is it this one? - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DRIFT-X170-X-...Camcorders&hash=item20b82719d5#ht_2657wt_1139

Yes mate that is the very badger but this kit does not include the excellent swan neck suction mount for the tank (as I used)

You need a 16gig card for 4hrs

The handlebar clip is **** (too small and too low) but would prolly adapt well for a thin crash bung or such like

I might fit the helmet sticky to a spare lid but obs dont want to feck up my AGV

I have to say the sound and vid quality are better than I had hoped and there is absolutely no break up or shatter of sound ...

I bought mine from NEC for £129 including tank mount and a 4 gig card
