Hi all this is my 1st post as a new member.I have just got a 2003 rsvr black frame model.
This is my 2nd mille but my 1st (R). I love it, it needs a few jobs doing to it like fork seals and a service, i will do that next week.
A strange thing happend on my first ride out. I rode down a bypass at speed and then braked for the roundabout, came to a stop, went to pull away but the brakes were almost locked on. I got to a lay-by and got off. You could smell hot brakes, after a few seconds i could rock the bike back and forward. And it was ok after that. Any thourghts?
I sold my 2008 r1 a few weeks back to save some money and got this bike as a replacement. As i said i love it, it handels better than anything i have ever ridden. OK its no R1 pace but that was one reson for the change. I went to show the lads my new toy, some said nice things but the best coment was O MY GOD you brought a XR3i.
