Look, it was cheap and I needed something safe for the wife to runs the kids round in and it is leathered up with cruise and arse heaters, etcetc, and it is kinda fun cruising up alongside other drivers in a white, short-sleeved shirt and jabbing your finger for them to pull over with your best copper scowl but ****, it marks a certain middle aged low point in your life from which there's no going back when you buy a feckin' VOLVO ESTATE:exclamation:eek:

Volvo drivers in Oz wear white clothing, wide brimmed hats, and can be found on the road trying to kill anyone on a bike while they commute haphazardly, four to a car mouths yappin constantly, between the Lawn Bowls Club & the local RSL for Roast meal and sherries. ARSE!!! he's right i did rock up to his house in a volvo!!! id blanked that one out as well!!

but there is one morsel of goodness that i can salvage from the darkness that shrouded me for a moment.....i only borrowed it! i gave it back the next day!

I have to admit it, yes i also bought one last year. After my daughter came along the golf was just not big enough for us all, and when you look at the new volvo's they are sooooooo well specked :bling and pretty stylish to.:thumbup

I've managed to convert loads of people who have bought into the swedish mark after sitting in my little beauty.
 
Volvo make a little sporty coupe thingy and they look quite nice... Can't believe i just said that Volvo and nice in the same sentence..

However, you can see fords design influnce in the latest models and they're pretty darn good now:wow

Yeh you're right I'd better get out on the rsv immediately and get a sanity fix.
 
I had a bit of a Drag race on the road to Orwell from bassingbourn about 13 years ago on my CBR600 against a T5r..........................i never took the piss out of volvos again.
