OIlleak...whats this thingy??

Me being technical as always, have a very slight oil leak and this appears to be the culprit ... is it the oil gauge switch.. my oil light sometimes flickers when clutch is dipped .. random blinking so I'm guessing the switch is knackered?

Yep, that's the oil switch.

You can get them from your local Aprilia dealer for around £10.

10 minute job to fit as well, just make sure the engine is cold when you do it as you can get some nasty burns in that area.

PS. Forgot to add, you'll fit a new one and it'll more than likely leak again in a few hundred miles. It's a bit of a bad design/quality issue with the actual part.

If you put it on the sidesatnd you dont have to drain the oil either.

Ther is a rumour around that the switch can be replaced with a FORD oem........but not too sure on that lol.

Mine did the same when i first bought the Mille. It a fairly common problem unfortunately. If you order one then expect to wait a week or so as they dont seem to be stocked in the UK.
