Oil

This is prolly nothing to be concerned about but I checked my oil today after a nice hot run out and it was down to the min mark again.. does anyone else get this?
I have done about 750 miles since last topping it up and most of those miles have bbem back road Hooning... oh and lots of wheelies .

Have used a litre in 2000 miles so isn`t to bad i suppose? will be buying a gallon of the stuff for top ups from now on instead of the litre bottles.Don`t care tho ....great bike!!!

Mine has gone halfway down in my first 500 miles (just over 2k on the clock) but as these are the early days I'm probably hooning a bit :thumbup

Dont think its a problem mine is much the same went to south wales from the north west last week and it came back on the min mark and that was rain all the way down as well but made up for it coming back

Cool! tis always nice to know these things... not worth asking the dealer. cos the Mechanics are all 12years old and more interested in Clio's and 106's...
this is just the sort of thing where Forums are Brilliant ..cheers chaps!!

Just had first service on my 2008 Factory, and in 700 miles it hasn't used a drop of oil.
Had a GS1200 once, drank the stuff faster than it drank petrol - almost!
