Oil Pressure Switch

Hi All,

Have just ran the service test mode on the T and its coming up with a oil pressure switch fault. I had the bike at the dealers and it was showing up there and they have said its most probably a faulty oil pressure switch as its very common. Everything seems fine on the bike so would like to replace the sensor or try cleaning it.

So can anyone tell me where abouts its located??

Cheers
Mark

i had to replace mine on my 07 factory after it started leaking. i checked the price of the switch and thought it would be cheaper than the petrol to ride to my local dealers to do a warranty claim and i wouldnt have to wait. of course i didnt consider the cost of the new oil. that cost £50 by its self. i almost choked when i found out.

I did not need to drain the oil simply let the bike cool down and whipped out the old and swapped to the new sensor lost a tiny bit of oil nothing major.

the bike had done over 3k on its oil and i had lost quite a lot with the leak so i thought i would change it anyway. stupidly dumped it while waiting for the switch to turn up before checking the price.
