I popped down to BB1000's at the weekend to do a fairing swap which didnt go to plan :dowhat but I noticed oil on my sensor. the last couple of days i've noticed when the bike is running at idle on the side stand the Triangle and the oil lamp flicks on. Checked the oil and this seems to be ok., with the oil on the sensor I thought it would be easy to replace it.

Anyone know of a a good place where I can get my dirty little hands on an Oil pressure switch for an RSV1000R 2007 engine? Yeah I have a 2007 engine in my 05 :devious

Had a look about and found 2 places but want £23 delivered, is that the right price.

Also im hoping to get it for the weekend as the bike is being stripped down for a good old clean

griff keeps them in stock.

They tend to weep through the sensor and out through the connector blade. You may also get flickering if you have fitted the longer oil filter and housing. Quite a few people had that issue with the longer filter.

cheers mate, As it has some oil on the sensor, its best to replace anyway as its cheap enough :) I will check the oil filter this weekend. the bike is getting a good clean up :)

retail 14 quid!! postage is upto you buddy!!

Cheers
griff
