:confusedTwice last week I started my bike up and the oil pressure indicator light came on and my bike would not go above 3000 rpm which scared me at first, until I read the manual and realized that it's a just a safety precaution. So I turned my bike off, then back on and the light was no longer on and everything was good. I checked the oil to make sure there was nothing leaking and I had the correct amount...all good. This happened twice...two days in a row. I was very cold both days, not sure if that could have anything to do with this.
So I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem before and if it's just the cold weather messing with my oil pressure sensor or if this is a bigger problem than I think...the bike runs fine after I restarted it both times and it hasn't happened since the weather has warmed up. Any thoughts? :dunno I ride a 04 RSVR with 2100mi
