Over winter doing a complete fluid change among some other mods (A16 stubby exhaust, MWR Air Filter, (redrat collector mod eventually!), dyno for remap ).
Bike ten years old now and while not big miles, time to renew the rubber coolant and oil pipes while I am at it.
Also allows me to completely clean engine area once stripped of radiators etc etc.

I have Samco kit for the coolant system (blingy red and with upgraded coolant ensures bike runs a few degrees cooler)
Just got a stainless oil reservoir to fit and wondering about the oil pipes.
Aprilia ones seem very expensive given I get correct sizes for one fifth of the price from automotive factors unit, seems nothing special about the rubber hoses other than preformed bends.
Any one suggest they have to be Aprilia ones?

No they don't need to be Aprilia, any good quality hoses will be fine, I'm just doing my winter overhaul aswell & it pisses me off how much genuine Aprilia parts cost. Just done my valve shims, genuine Aprilia £12.50 each, KTM (which are identical shims) £2.00 Also changed the oil/dust seals on my OZ wheels, genuine Aprilia £12.41 each, identical ones from bearing & seal company £2.04 each :roll
