oil leak

hey guys i have an 2001 rsv, when washing it i could see some oil in the belly pan
i followed it back and seems to b coming from a little hole in the engine case but the hole
looks like the case was made like it rather than from damage.
is there meant to be like a little grub screw in it? hope some1 can help

The oil seals gone on your water pump mate, there are two seals, one for oil & one for water, the vent hole shows you which one has gone.

Think I've got the same problem with mine, anyone fixed one? Guessing its a new water pump, is it an easy job and how much is a water pump ?

yeah there looks to be a shitload of parts ('kin expensive too!)....but is it an easy job?

er no, it's just the oil and water seals you need. It's a long job with clutch out and removal of seals but the parts are only just over 20 quid!!!

Thanks for all your input guys, The oil is only leaking very very slow like a drip or two everytime i go out on it,
that will be my next job then are there any aprilia tools i need? or just the normal?
