Oil change

Just want to double check how to do it.
From what I "know" it's:
Run the engine to warm up oil. Stick bike on paddock stand. Drain oil from the oil drainy plug thing. Re-fit oil drainy plug thing. Fill with new oil.
I know i'm meant to use a new oil filter, but being the donut I am i've forgotten to order one and i'm taking the bike on holiday on Sunday.

Also, how does one drain the coolant system? Might do that as well 'cause I think I may have a bit too much in there.

Remove oil drain plug from oil tank and there's another drain plug next to the oil filter housing it will have a magnet on the end to check that you don't have any nasty filings floating around your engine, change the oil filter and refill with 3.8 litres of oil run engine until fans come on turn engine off make sure bike is upright and look at the sighting tube on the oil tank you want the oil to be about an inch or so over the min mark don't put to much in or it will spit it back into your airbox jobs a goodun :)

What he said.

You don't need to run the engine before draining, if you do, leave it to cool down for about an hour or you'll get burned hands when you take out the drain plug and get hot oil over them!!

I have a long oil filter if you need it. If yours is a little one, then tough.

Thanks for the replies people.

Pieman, I have a long one, but my oil filter's the short one unfortunately. Might pop round to yours and do it if I can pick up some spark plugs.
