going to do an oil change soon (2005 rsvr>) just wondered whats the best oil ive got some vouchers for hein gericke is any of their stuff any good? i think they had motul and shell last time i was in ,also seen some k/n oil filters on the bay or is it best with genuine aprilia filter //////////////////////////

hello mikey i use hein gericke oil and ive had no problems with it at all, i`d use a genuine filter theyre cheep enough mate,and make sure you change the rubber gasket

I'm using heine gericke 10w50 fully synthetic, and before you all jump on me and say it is the wrong grade the 10 refers to the cold viscosity, and is actually better for cold starts, where most damage is done.

I read on here somewhere that Heine-Gericke oil is actually repackaged motul, I would try that if you have some vouchers, I use semi as I dont want the clutch slip problem that some have and I use it in my 05 trackbike and my ZZR1400 road bike with no problems.
