Can anyonetell me the dimesions of the standard Sachs shock on a 2000?My bikes at my work and can't find anything about the length in my manual. Found a nice WP Race shock with these dimensions - the center to center is approx 17 1/4" or 44 cm and the eyes are 10mm both ends - and wondered if it'll fit??

I would stick with a shock specced for an Rsv.
Whislt you might get something else that will physically fit, it's valving is unlikely to match the Aprilia linkage setup.
Different bikes are all different in terms of suspension spec. Some have rising rate setups and some are linear, different swingarm, dogbone lengths etc etc. I think you would be asking for a headache unless very lucky.
