Ohlins standard road set up

Hi folks,can someone give me some tried and tested base settings for the front and rear shocks on my 02 RSV-R,the dumb *** who owned it before me seems to have wound everything,apart from the pre-load,upto maximum (track day freak ?) and iam losing fillings and getting a numb pecker/arse,thanks

Download the owner’s manual from here if you don't have one and set everything back to the manufacturers settings. Then read through this THREAD for sorting out your rider's sag (preload). From there it's a matter of tinkering with your compression/rebound to suit your preferences. :thumbup

Try these as a base start

Front
Comp - 12 clicks out from in
Rebo - 12 clicks out from in
peload - 8 turn out from wound in

Rear
Comp - 13 clicks out from in
Rebo - 14 clicks out from in
Preload - 12mm of thread showing from top of lock nuts
