This is an AP8240, so should come with a 1091-31/95 spring fitting the 01-03 models. The pre 01 models had a 1093-54/140 spring.

Yeah mate that's correct.........however i used it on my 2000 model with 01-03 dogbone and linkages and was fine bud.

What's the difference between the springs? Does this one have the 'right' spring? Just wondering.

Rob :)

Rob,,,,,, I couldn't tell you exactly, I can only assume its a slightly different weight or something???? This is the correct spring for the 01-03 as standard.

I thought it would be something like that. The thing I still can't work out is how vriesfde knows the spring type from your picture. Is it from the 629-01 code? I can see the 'AP8240' on the shock body in your photo but identifying a specific spring model from your photo, that's impressive (or very very sad) ;)

Rob :)
