Ohlins replacement for Sachs rear shock?

I'm considering replacing the rear shock on my bike from Sachs to Ohlins as I rebuild it (I've already got some Ohlins forks).

Are the units interchangeable, or are different mounts/linkages required to make the Ohlins shock fit? :confused

as long as you get a ohlins rear shock for your year bike mate you will be alright it will slot in without any problems
