Taking my 08 Factory apart for a full winter check as the bike is new to me.
now on Ohlins forks and found the brass pin from the rebound adjuster is missing.. anyone have a spare
or any dealers/breakers out there with a smashed set of ohlins forks, this little part would be fine stuck inside even a destroyed set..
its about an inch long, has a fat head on it about 6mm diameter, 5mm deep, then turns down to a 3mm pin shape for the rest of the length with the last 6mm or so of the pin tapering down to a 1mm ish point
anyone help?
To get to it, just unscrew the fork cap, undo lock nut, remove fork cap, lift out damper rod, turn leg upside down, and a spring and this brass pin should fall out.
