ohlins question

hi all, i have just bought an ohlins rear shock, AP8240 and said in the ad for a mille 01-03 or tuono 01-03.
i have a tuono 03 plate, will this just be a case of sachs off and ohlins on or do i need anything else does anybody know?
thought id ask now b4 i try and fit it and face any problems and get annoyed.

Well thats certainly the case on the 2nd gen T.I cant say for certain,but I would have thought it would be the same for the Tuoldo.
As mentioned before,Batfastard is yer man,he's a veritable font of knowledge on the subject.

Fook me, nowt like being put on the spot is there.

If it's from an 01-03 mille it's a straight swap.
Good luck though. the top shock absorber fixing bolt on a Tuoldo is a right bitch to get a at.

thanks guys, i have read the ad again and its from a 03 plate mille r so all should be good.
i know i maybe should av asked first but it was a bit of an impulse buy, i offered the guy quite a bit less than buy it now price and he accepted. my missis was away on a 2day conference and i was bored, she really shouldnt leave me on my own at night eh!
best thing is i dont have any spare money, gone on the credit card, maybe she can lend me the money?
