Evening all, long time - no anything.

After a bit of advice regards front forks. Is it worth fitting a set of ohlins forks from a 2001 rsv Mille to a 2003 tuoldo? Only ask cos i have an ohlins rear and I can't seem to get the front set up proper. Seems vague, flighty with little feedback...

Cheers all

Tom

have you set your sag front and rear? sounds like you have your rebound and compression wound up to tight.. i think the recommended settings are something like compression 6 clicks out and rebound is around the twenties.. can't remember off the top of my head, but if you start from a recommended base point it won't take you long figuring it out..

thanks for the reply turbo.

yeah set the sag at about 30mm front and rear and then started to fiddle as i went along. thing is there are no clicks, and only about 2 and half turns on the front adjusters... the rear seems fine (although it could do with a little more compression thinking about it) but I just cant seem to get the front settled. it seems to wander a bit, doesnt feel planted and there is no feedback. considering i have rosso corsas on it that seems a bit strange... hence why i am thinking about a set of ohlins...

i weigh about 13.5 stone, anyone got any reccomendations for the front?
