Hi folks,

Unfortunately my very short love affair with my mille may have to come to and unforseen end:angry.

My fiancee and I have bought a plot of land and plan to build a house after we are married in july so money will be alittle scarce during the build as we need to keep the house we are in just now to live in until the new one is built.

The bike is on ebay just now(dont know how to make the link a clicky)with quite few people watching it, if you fancy a look I'm sure you'll recognise the bike from my garage pics and my avatar. However I'm secretly hoping noone bids as this will mean I keep the bike:doug possibly in storage for a year as I probably wouldn't have the money to run the bike.

Cheers,

Ross.

well spotted sprocker, yes unfortunately that is the bike I have only just bought and fell in love with, when i sold my cbr 600 fy for this I knew it would be a step up but the difference is unbelievable I cant actually believe how good it is and the noise is really something special!!!!!!!

So here's hoping I get to keep Her!!!!!!!!!!

How about one of us buy for a nominal fee, lets call it a storage charge for example (£1.95 should cover it), you tell the Mrs to be that it sold for bugger all, dry stored in a garage, then when she who must be obeys gives you £1.95 pocket money, hey presto, you can buy her back!:devious:pirate

good idea on paper but the battleaxe would never go for it!!!Just had a guy on the phone telling me he really liked mine but he had been offered a silver one for 3k so I told him I would end the auction for 3.5k and he said "I think I'll go for the silver one"I think he could tell I was pleased when opted for the silver one!!!!!

I'll have it, but I've got no money.:confused
BUT...............the thing is, if I bid, then we can pretend to haggle over the money, you can pretend to start court proceedings etc, which will take yonks, and all the while you'll get to keep the bike. In the end you can forget I ever existed :biggrin

.........just a thought

good idea on paper but the battleaxe would never go for it!!!!!!!

Only your fiancee and already a Battleaxe wait till your married then  :biggrin

Another suggestion, one of us could "steal" your bike then when your ready it could suddenly be "found again" :pirate

Plan `B` could always involve telling the good lady to be that you`ve struck a deal with the builders and kitchen fitter you intend to use. Tell her that you`ve managed to knock £3500 off the price already thus being able to keep the bike?:dunno:devious

You didn't that smeg oven and built in coffee machine anyway:biggrin

Plan `C` could involve inviting Kevin McLoud up from Grand Designs,, think of the royalties from Channel 4:thumbup

I could be onto something there.:pirate

Lots of good idea's lads but I've promised her I'll sell if I'm offered in the region of three and a half I'll sell:tongue

Just can't bear the thought of selling a bike thats so good after only having it a couple of months!!!!!!

I can bid on it for you as im in oz , then you can try and get the money off me , which wont happen , itll drag out for a couple of weeks , months maybe , you can tell the missus its sold , ill have to organize it to get here , which wont happen, but in your mind youll know so really are we hurting anyone , you have to be sneaky soon mate your about to get the 3 rings , engagement wedding and then suffering .

We knew you could'nt do it Ross:inlove
Just couldn't bring myself to do even although I was offered £700 more than I paid for it.I spent alot of time looking for a yellow one for the extra bhp they have:nana and did a 500 mile round trip to bring it home, worth it when I parked it next to my mates k6 gsxr600 and my italian superbike pissed all over it for less than half the price!!!!

Good man :thumbup whens the divorce then :biggrin

Good for you Ross... Really happy to see you'll keep it, a true believer!!! Cheers!!!

Mate great start to the rest of your life , you and the bike are going to be a good pair , it would have been a shame to sell her:thumbup

No divorce, politely reminded her that I had bikes before I had her and it would take something drastic for me not to have my bike!!!!Then she found out I had just bought a pair of tyres and was bidding on a stubby can and a pcIII and went bananas:banghead
