Anybody tried these batteries?

They're popular with BMW riders, apparently, cos they provide high cranking power, and are deep-cycle so can be fully discharged. My only worry is that it'll overpower the starter solenoid. Any experience out there?

nope, it's not bs. even on their site they reccomend you get rid of the optimate and get one of their high-power chargers. they charge from 1 or 2 amps unp if i remember correctly.

I have had one on my bmw for 4 years and it is aways on the optimate and i have had no problems at all, and it turns the heavy bm engine over far better than the standard battery did.you pays your money and.
