Gettin used to the bike now n satred picking the pace up but have noticed the front tyre on oneside looks like its ripping up, not a nice even scrubbed tyre looks like its cold tearing..the bike seems very unstable mid corner all chattery, put the bike back to standard ish settings n still the same..

Anyone any ideas, got a trackday at the end of the month, could do with a bike that wants to go around corners..

Using dunlop gp racers, they are great on the track

will try n get some pics up tomorrow

thanks guys...n galls

:eatcorn Hey oli my dunlop did the same thing at willow springs. They are the europe made ones I got them from bostum .my buddy sky was his machanic last year and sky says check presure and sometimes there is a bad tire carcas very rear but happens good luck hope you find the cause and let me know will ya. d cheers

having trounle loding pics..

But i think we have uncovered the problem, had a mate around who has a bike shop, had a good look around the front end and found some oil spattering on the underside of the front upper fairing (where the mirror fastens)..checked the clutch bits etc, then he notices the preload adjuster has a slight mist of oil..seem the fork is leaking out of the top under heavy compression?? Also your can turn the preload adjuster 3mm ish with your fingers so something is amiss & oneother thing the forks are 2 shades of gold one being darker than the other??

So time to pull them out and he will build them back up for £30

Is there any mods to be done oil wise while there getting rebuilt??

Thanks guys
