Oooooooh yeah ... finally the nice chaps at Oberon have finished fabricating a Clutch Slave cylinder for the Rsv, and Tuono... I contacted them about a year ago and asked if they did one, and was told one was on the books to be done.... and i got a email a couple of days ago to say they had got then in.... so £89.99.. wizzed its way through the interweb and mr posty managed to find my house ..... fer a change.

Anyway, I got a nice shiny red on as I have the Strawberry flavour Tuono. In the package there is everything that ya need to fit it.. allen bolts, copper washers and the clearest instructions you can hope for... even for one as mechanicaly challenged as me.... fitting was a doddle and it bled up in about 15 mins.

What a difference!... gone is the two handed clutch operation... ... I have shorty levers and the clutch is now as light as me GF's Bandit 1250... I also suffer from Carpal Tunnel, so my wrists are a nightmare with a heavy cluth in town... my hand and fingers go knumb... but yesterday I took the Tuono through London.. with no problems.. usually i have to take me ZXR..

heres some pics... they do em different colours as well... I think they do a gold one which would look the dogs on a Factory

scuse the odd yello colour on the pics tis that pesky big red ball in the sky that we dont see much of now..!!

Hi Mogster, thought you may have sold the Tuono as I haven't seen you on here lately!!
Have you got any part numbers for the slave cylinder? Couldn't find them on the website. Currently recovering from broken scaphoid on left hand from dirtbike crash and the T's clutch is too much for me at the mo, having to ride the CBR6 instead!
Cheers

Mogstar. Your avatar must be your alter ego if you cant handle a pussy of a clutch, ya fud. Anyway if your neighbour clocks it what you gonna tell him, it's my super dooper quick charge cell, that lets me run at 185mph for 2 hours, please don't tell anyone it's a special.
Aldo.

I was going got say... I have never had an issue with the pull on Andimao's clutch lever... but then being 6'5" and 270 may be an advantage. I will say that it does look quite sawheet tucked in there.

Welcome back, Mogster;

Hope you healed as well as your bike appears to have. Thanks for the tip on the clutch cylinder. Let us know if your clutch fluid browns with this addition since many of us are running around with this taint.

--Gots to say, it wouldn't hurt to add some plates to yer dead lift for those hams. :)
