hi guys i done the sprag fix a few weeks ago and it worked great no mashing noise when cranking over and running perfect . I left the bike for a week and it would not start checked all the usual out and it's all good eg fuel spark relays really stuck with this one help please

check all the simple stuff, charge your battery somewhere warm for a few days, i know it sounds over kill but if you can get some heat on the bike before starting it then do it

Pull the spark plugs out and take them in doors, heat them up on the radiators for a couple of hours. Make sure they are clean and defect free.
Take the battery off and take that in the warm house too and charge overnight.
Fit the battery, then the plugs and start it, hopefully!!
If it doesn't start after this then let us know and we'll do some more checks with you.

i suggested this to another guy a couple of weeks ago and was shot down in flames cos the guy didnt tell me exactly what he'd done to the bike BUT........
please make sure that if everything works on the bike and youve done absolutly nothing else to this bike including moving the battery............that.....
youve not fitted the crank sensor the wrong way round in the casing easy done, seen it happen a few times!

LOL, only idiots discard advice from the likes of you.
Could be a hundred and one things wrong here but given the current climate I would have to say start with the battery and plugs before dismantling the bike again.

Chap bought his bike in after doin the sprag (dads a car mech) wouldnt run ........odd one!

cant believe it cleaned the plugs and she fired up thanks for the help guys cheers
Great news Scobie, lets hope for some sunshine and dry roads now.
I found out early on in my ownership that these RSV's flood very easily and once those plugs are damp you ain't gonna start it no matter what you do.
It's plugs out, warm then up and back in they go.
PS. I managed to find this guy on Ebay selling Iridium plugs for RSV's really cheap - Click Me - Make sure you order the right ones for your bike. I received mine in record time, from placing the order to arriving on my doorstep was 2 days. (£25 for 4 delivered to your door, can't be bad)

Yes I got a set of them speedy delivery and give a better spark first time start now just getting used to the way to start all bike are different.
